My latest new course “20th Century Russia: Politics, Economics and Social Life” has taken place at Dillington House, Ilminster on the 14th of July 2015. The course was a part of Dillington House Summer Programme which you can find on their website: http://www.dillington.com/.
It was a pleasure to see so many lovely and knowledgeable people. We had covered important events that had happened in the 20th century in Russia and how these events are being interpreted in Russia and in the world. The past is always a mystery and we never know exactly whether the facts are reflecting the reality behind them. The course also opened the doors to the “life behind bars”, life of fear and obedience. 20th century had rises and falls in the scales of the whole country and in scales of singles families with perfect or broken lives.
